Free Password Generator
Pick a length and choose which character sets to include, then click Generate to create a strong, random password. The built-in strength meter scores every password by its entropy, and nothing you generate is ever stored or sent anywhere.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are the passwords generated?
Passwords are generated using the browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so every password is unpredictable and unique.
What makes a strong password?
Length matters most, followed by variety: a long password mixing uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols is far harder to crack than a short, predictable one.
Are my passwords stored anywhere?
No. Passwords are created locally in your browser and never leave your device. There is no account, no logging and no server storage.
What is the strength meter based on?
The meter calculates entropy in bits (password length × log₂ of the pool size) and rates the password as Weak, Fair, Strong or Very Strong from that score.
