Dental Implant Cost Calculator
How much do dental implants cost? Enter your treatment plan below — this free calculator estimates US price ranges for single implants, implant bridges, All-on-4 and full-mouth restoration, including common add-ons like extractions, bone grafts and 3D scans. Runs entirely in your browser.
How implant pricing works
A single implant has three billed parts: the titanium post placed in the jaw, the abutment connector, and the crown on top — typically $3,000–$6,000 per tooth all-in in the US. Larger restorations (bridges, All-on-4, full mouth) cost more in total but less per tooth. The add-ons above are the extras that most often surprise patients: extractions, bone grafts (needed when bone is thin), 3D scans and sedation.
FAQ
Why is the range so wide?
Geography is the biggest driver (a Manhattan implant can cost double a Midwest one), followed by case complexity, implant brand and whether grafting is needed. That is why the calculator gives a range, not a single number.
Does dental insurance cover implants?
Sometimes partially — many plans cover the crown portion but not the post, and annual maximums ($1,000–$2,000) are often exhausted by a single implant. Check your plan's implant exclusion clause.
How long does treatment take?
A straightforward single implant takes 3–6 months (healing time between post placement and crown). Cases needing bone grafts or full-arch work can run 6–12 months.
Are payment plans common?
Yes — most implant practices offer in-house plans or third-party financing (e.g. CareCredit). Staged payments across the treatment timeline are the norm.
